May i know what the different between けれど & けど , as its the same meaning as “but” in the explanation.

Good question. It’s the level of formality. These three all mean “but” or “however”:
けど (less formal)
けれど
けれども (more formal)
There are no furigana, why? I am a N5 level and I don’t know those kanji. Thank you.
Hi Beatrice. Mouse over the kanji and the furigana should appear. Or if you are on mobile, tap the kanji to show it. 🙂
We did this on purpose to force you to think through the kanji. When the furigana is always there, it is easy to only read that rather than learn the kanji’s reading. I hope it helps!
