I like this section so I hope you continue with it. One small issue… I am an upper beginner so I am familiar with the kanji in these examples but I think it might help beginners more if the hiragana for the kanji is written in paranthesis at least in the vocabulary section.

It may be more convenient for total beginners at first to have the furigana visible all the time, but I think it’s better to exercise some tough love and force people to mouse over to confirm the reading.
I didn’t realize that trick about a tap to see the furigana. I can check my kanji knowledge and then see if I was right. Nice!
Great! I am not sure how to mention that feature where it is easy see without being everywhere for people who already know about it. I’ll think about how to make it more obvious.
I think even for beginners, use furigana when necessary, but make the effort to try to remember the readings (and then double check with a tap). It’s truly tough love, but it will pay off in the end.
